 Dear Parents and Children,

Week five was alive-

With all sorts of fun!

The counselors and kids,

Were all on the run.

We Tie-Dyed our shirts,

So we would be on a team.

The Olympics are next week,

And we’ll all make the scene.

Welcome all of our campers to the second four weeks at Jay’s Camp. There will be many new and exciting programs in store for all of our campers, with sports, games, contests, Olympics, the famous Jay’s Carnival and Much, Much, More!

Extensions: We do have some openings left for weeks 6,7, and 8. Just call the office to make arrangements.

Picture Day: Picture Day will be Monday July 26th. All campers should wear their Jay’s T-Shirts!

Inter-Camp Counselor Tournament: Jay’s Camp challenged Banner Day Camp to a softball game on Monday July 19th. Banner won the first game 7-5. However, Jay’s Camp (Hooray!!) beat Banner in the second game 17-3. Way to go Jay’s Camp!!!

SAC CAMP

The second session started off great! We have so many great things planned for the session!! We are so happy to welcome back our old SAC campers and are so happy to have so many wonderful new SAC Campers. The girls jumped in right away and have already caught onto the SAC Camp routine. They have all bonded with their groups and made new friends. This week the girls had a chance to choose to new clubs and classes and participate in Leagues and Interest Groups. We are excited to see what the girls are preparing for performances in Classes. It is going to be so exciting. On Friday, SAC Camp hosted International Day and the girls had a change to travel to China, Australia, Mexico, Jamaica, Greece, Egypt, France, Italy, India, and Spain. The girls had the opportunity to see different exhibits and try samples of food from the various countries. International Day was a perfect way for the girls to get ready for Jay’s Olympics next week. We have so many great events in store such as running, jumping, throwing, gymnastics, and many more!! Also next week, SAC Camp is taking a field trip to the Vernon Hills Water Park on Tuesday! We hope everyone had a great first week of the session! Have a great weekend and rest up for next week! Ali’s Awesome Amiga’s

I am still in shock at how fast this summer is going by! Getting back to our normal schedule after last week's crazy week, the amigos were able to show off how awesome they are!  At gymnastics, Abby S. was able to do a handstand for thirty seconds without any help.  Abby, you made it look so effortless; you should do gymnastics in the Olympics!  Also, in art, Eva T. making a crafty frame with beads, gems and so much more!  Great job Eva, you're so creative!
