JAYS SUMMER CAMP – WEEK 7

All the campers were really in heaven

When they had much fun in week #7

With sports and games they got their fill

And so enjoyed the Carnival

There were games and prizes and the dunk tank was scary

And a visit from the Fortune Teller Madam Foos Berry

It seems like the summer has just begun

With all my campers having so much fun

The campers at Jays you are so great

Getting ready for the best week of all – week #8

Next week all Jays campers will be allowed to choose their favorite activity at camp and spend time doing what makes them happy. We will also have quite a few SAC and Sports Camp kick ball and volleyball games and surprises galore.

Parents we still have quite a few items in our lost and found. If you wish can come out to camp and look for your child’s lost articles. We put out all lost and found articles for the children to look at and many of them cannot identify their own clothes etc.

Next week I will have some information for you on next years camp pricing and early enrollment discounts. I think you will be very happy with next season’s price structure, early discounts and referral discounts.

SAC Performances – girls SAC camp performances will be held next Thursday April 12 at 10:00 am sharp. Groups will be introduced with a song or dance followed by dance class, pottery and art, gymnastics and our play. Then all parents are welcome to come to the main pavilion for a slide show presentation.

TNT Sports Camp Unit Heads

Can you believe we only have one more week??!! Good thing we brought the circus in town on Wednesday. The carnival was here and it was amazing. Oh, and lets not forget to thank the very beautiful Madam Foosberry for flying in from New York to read our kids fortunes. Also, did you guys see that three-foot alligator or that huge snake? We had a lot of fun this week and lets keep it strong and finish off this year on great note.

Sports Camp 2^nd Grade

SC 2 Jon's Team X

Avi R. did an excellent job Tuesday beating a Junior Counselor in ping pong 11 - 7. He had a perfect hit during the game, returning a ball that the Junior Counselor hit off the edge of the table. Avi also had a great time at the Carnival jumping in the bounce house and playing water races!

Adams 2010 Stanley Cup Champion Blackhawks! --

Another great week for the Blackhawks! Cuyler A showed us all who owns spaaceball-jumpshot setting the longest winning streak in Jays history, while Ben N ruled the hockey court with future plans of taking Pat Kanes spot! Great job boys! Looking forward to an exciting last week of camp! Keep it up!

Zack's Soda Pop

Heading into the homestretch, the Soda Pop had another awesome week. Ben D. rejoined the group this week, bringing his moves to the dance stage. Brad G. led his team to victory in baseball, walloping 3 hits and making a Web Gem-worthy play in the field. Tanner M. dominated in dodgeball, leading his team to a resounding victory. With one week left, the summer is winding down. Hopefully the Soda Pop can end this summer on a high note!

Joe's Scorpions

Joe's scorpions have done it again this week!!! This group of kids never has any problem amazing me. Paul S. in pottery made his projects so well, he was able to lend his hands to the other guys. Ryan P. came into space ball this week with one thing in mind jumping higher and making sure that ball made it in the basket every time. As always everyone did great, keep up the good work!!

Silver's Hawks

The 7th week here at Jay's camp was phenomenal! The boys once again

showed their range of skills all over camp as they dominated all areas

of camp again!! One of the many standouts this week was owned by Nick

F as he scored his first career hockey goal! Way to go Nick! Another

highlight was performed by Ian G as he was a force to be reckoned with

in soccer this week! It was like the ball couldn't get away from him.

Nice job dude! The Hawks continue to defy excellence as this summer

just keeps on getting better! Let's finish this one up strong boys!!

Alberts Troublemakers

What a week for the seventh week at Jay's camp!  The campers really performed at unbelievable level! In the pits of Ga-Ga, Johna B. ruled as king! He won more games then I can remember.  The troublemakers welcomed back on of their most notorious members this week: Matt M.  His transition was flawless as he hit multiple home runs in both baseball and tennis-baseball!  In the hockey rink Jake C. showed off his skill set, and boy was it spectacular!  He had moves that I haven't seen since Wayne Gretzky played!  As the final week approaches I know that the trouble makers will give their all to make the last week a blast!

The Crew

Man did we have some fun this week playing all kinds of different games and sports. We played baseball a couple times this week and would like to give a special mention to Alec S. for hitting home run after home run. It seems that almost every time Alec is up to bat he is sailing another ball over the fence. We also played many games of hockey and Jake H. is an absolute allstar. When he is in goal it is near impossible to get anything by him and when he is out of goal you better watch out because Jake might be scoring on you. Let's have a good rest of the summer with our final week at Jays, let's make it a good one fellas.

K's Swagdaddys----

Its been another great week for the swagdaddies here at Jays camp! The time has flown by but this summer has been packed with great times and loads of great highlights! Steffen R. showed hes ready to get back on the highlight reel with his performance in hockey. He notched two goals and an assist taking his team to victory. Great job Steffen! Zack P. has also found himself back in Jays top plays with his hard work on the football field. Zack put three touchdowns up on the board while playing some lock down defense! Just in time for football season! Keep up the good work swagdaddies!
