Dear Parents and Children,

I can’t believe this is Week #3 and the first four weeks are almost over. It seems like yesterday that I saw all of Jay’s campers for the first time getting off of the buses with their smiling faces! We have one more fantastic week coming up. Listed below are the openings for the second four weeks. I hope you take advantage of our special pricing for our one, two, three, or four week extensions, whether three days or five days per week.

Next week:

Monday 7/12: Day Camp Talent Show 12:30 sharp at our Jay’s Stage. Parents, please park across the street or in our rear parking lot.

Tuesday 7/13: Sports Camp and SAC will be taking a trip to Kristoff’s Fun Park. Each camper can bring between 5.00 and 7.00 in quarters (in a zip-lock bag) for treats and extra games. Jay’s camp will pay the entrance fee, supply transportation, and supply hot or cold lunch for those on our camp lunch program. We will be returning to camp by 2:45 for popsicles and then board the buses for home.

Wednesday 7/14: Our famous WILD WEST DAY at Jay’s Camp! Please, please begin sending old toys, games, book, or other items with your child on his or her bus. We need a lot so send them ASAP! Jay’s Camp will be transformed into a town of the 1890’s with a gold rush, pony rides, general store, dance hall and many more fun activities!

Thursday 7/15: SAC Performances at 10:00am sharp. Meet at Jay’s stage for an art and pottery fair, dance recital, gymnastics, the Willy Wonka play, and a slideshow of your daughters’ experience at Jay’s Camp.

Lost &Found: We have quite a few items which have not been claimed. All lost and found articles are displayed daily outside the pool fence. If you are missing anything, please remind your child to look for it.

TNT Sports Camp Unit Heads

Sports camp kept on rolling through a very hot, week 3. Which means more swim time! The highlight of this week was for sure, Crazy Olympics. The famous pie-eating contest was again, the most popular event. Great job to all of the contestants! Hopefully the excitement will carry into week 4. Have a great weekend and see you next week. Don’t forget to register for the 2nd four weeks!!

Sports Camp 2nd Grade

SC 2 Jon's Team X

Joseph C. joined our group this week and has jumped right into our routine without problem. Wednesday at Gameworld, Joseph won 3 games of air hockey, which made him the King of air hockey for the week. He will try next week to keep his winning streak alive.

Billy F. also joined our group this week. Billy stood out this week when the 2nd graders were playing kickball against 4th graders. Billy had two nice hits, and had a few great plays in the field. The group enjoyed Joseph and Billy joining our group this week and are looking forward to a fun rest of the summer with them.

Avi is a camper who enjoys most every activity. During Ga Ga, Avi outlasted the whole group as he went on to win numerous times. He also does a great job during Jump Shot and Space Ball. The other day, Avi made every shot in Jump Shot and finished the day with a 3 - 0 record. He is always full of energy and is a pleasure to have in camp!

Adams 2010 Stanley Cup Champion Blackhawks! --

The Blackhawks are in great shape as the 3rd week comes to a close. Cuyler A showed off his skills in the pool as he moved up a level in swimming! Great job Cuyler. Carson D proved that he is the new LeBron in jumpshot spaceball as he stayed in for a 3rd grade record 6 game win streak! Sweet! Ben N showed us all who is the hockey champ once again! Awesome week Blackhawks

Zack's Soda Pop

Wow, three weeks of camp have already flown by! It's true what they say: time does fly when you are having fun. This week, Tanner M. showed off his kickball prowess, kicking a double and playing stellar defense in the field. Justin S. wowed us with his speed in the Jurassic Survivor obstacle course, tearing through it in record time. Matt M. displayed his incredible dancing acumen at Hip Hop, winning Freeze Dance. As much fun as this week has been, I have no doubt that next week will be even better!

Joe's Scorpions

I was very happy to see everyone come back from their holiday weekend with all their fingers intact. This week was very hot and the guys thrived in the pool. Ryan P. Wanted to perfect his swimming and got the chance with all this hot weather. Our hockey playoffs were lighting up today when Chris P. came ready to play and later held up the Stanley cup. Congratulations everybody!!

Silver's Hawks

Once again, Silver's Hawks have done the unthinkable, topped the week before!! The summer of 2010 here at Jay's has officially taken off! The Hawks were all over the camp grounds flaunting the amazing talents for all to see! Jack B. gave forth an olympic effort in the pool as he passed to white level 5 this week. Look out Michael Phelps because Jack is coming for you! On the baseball diamond Greg O. brought the lumber as he smacked the ball all over the yard in helping his team to victory in leagues this week. Way to go Greg! The boys have really taken a liking to Silver's Cup which is a hockey competition in which the winner gets a group designed trophy that emulates the Stanley Cup that our own Blackhawks brought home earlier this summer. An early standout in the series has been Eli Feldstein as he as helped is team by putting the puck in the net from everywhere in inside Jay's Stadium. Nothing seems to be out of Eli's range! It has been a crazy week here at Jay's but coming off the holiday weekend, I think the boys got some extra energy to help carry the group running the rest of the summer. These truly are an amazing group of kids as they continue to do great things here at Jay's. Keep it up boy's because next week, as always, should be better than the last!

Sports Camp 6 & 7

Mike watkins

The crew

Alright crew we're more than half way through the first four weeks at

jays and I could not be happier with our group. We are all having fun

and coming closer as a group. We added two new kids to the group this week and they could not fit in any better. Both Slava M. and George S. have done amazing in all the games we have played. Slava is a really great swimmer, learning all the strokes so quickly. George is an excellent baseball player, crushing the ball and with his lightning speed. This kid can really fly.

K's Swagdaddys----

Another week has begun here at Jays and it has been as exciting as ever! After the long weekend the swagdaddies have returned with renewed energy and great spirit! Quinn C has been tearing up the turf on the football field this week coming up with big catches and great defense. Keep playing hard Quinn! Hunter S. must have spent some time at the beach over the holiday weekend cause he has been on fire in the nukum court with some fantastic catches and some tough point scoring throws. Keep it up Hunter! Great week Swagdaddys!
